Rotors Catastrophe ,To Turn Or Not to Turn?

Replaced my rotors and brake pads about 20K years ago. However, front rotors are starting to squeal now and am concerned about what to do. When I originally bought and replaced all pads and rotors I wound up with an extra pair of front Stillen pads. I can do th work as quick as Saturday morning. My question is to you guys that have done numerous brake jobs, should I have my rotors turned or not? They are the slotted dimpled rotors that many of us bought last Summer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What 41 views?

41 vuews and not a single reply? Thanks so much for the overwhelming response to an org member by fellow enthusiasts. I really needed an answer but I guess no answer will do.

Squealing is generaly a pad issue. El-cheapo pads and hight temp racing pads will both genreally squeal.

I also think that you should make sure that you use the shim pads and the anti-squeal compound that comes with the pads.
