If it was wrinkled on all four doors then i would think its normal, its only on one other door.

Doh! Sorry, I'm an idiot - I have aftermarket leather, so am probably not the best example of stock...<<<<<<<<
Regarding wear, I had leather in my '95, and over 138k the only wear I ever experienced was on one panel of the driver seat. Everything else still cleaned up like new.

Er...do you mean actually wrinkled, or grain in the leather. My inserts have the grain (I think - currently don't have it handy), but it lies flat and smooth on all of the doors.

I hope someone has a definitive answer on whether it's supposed to be like this or not (it looks like it's an intentional look, but I'm not sure).

Lexol.... Hmm, I use Zymol leather cleaner and conditioner. Has anyone compared which is better/safer for leather? I have those light gray leather seats, and that driver seat looks shades darker than the passenger seats from use.

Hey vito, i hear ya about the "is it normal question" for the wrinkle or folds to be there. I mean it kinda just looks like they through on the leather any ol way then wanted.
My opinion is that they all should look the same, either wrinkled or nice and smooth.
when i bring my car in for rattling hood, air noise in back windows, then i'm going to ask them about the leather. i'm sure they'll just say oh its normal.

On the other hand, I Lexol'ed the car today, and noticed that some of these wrinkles are more pronounced than others. Not all 4 doors are the same (unlike what I thought prior to today). These wrinkles look like someone pulled this simulated leather too tight, and it caused these bends.
TREY, make sure to keep us updated if/when you take it to the dealer. Also, if they say it's normal, see if they have any other 02/03 Maximas w/leather, and take a peek at their door trim.

Yep, that's the folds/wrinkles that I have. Except some of the doors have it "worse" than others.

Mine are the same all around.

as for the leather, mine used to look fine but it started to wrinkle. i think that's partly due to the gay leathe cleaning thing i used. it actually cleans if you can dry it off!

I just hope mine stays like it is now and doesn't turn into that old, used saddle look...all old, dark, and cracked (like me). Hopefully, that only belongs to people who don't take care of their cars!
