Before with factory setup the ride was aweful. Floating and somewhat out of control feeling with the power of this car makes you think. I installed the H&Rs for performance issues and man the improvement was amazing. So much so that I've past my warrantee because of all the miles I put on my ride. H&Rs will give you the least amount of drop but the improvement in handling is well worth it. Subtle and understated plus the appearence is great.

It's all about personal preference really. I installed the Eibach springs for one purpose only, handling. The slight drop of the car was just a nice cosmetic after effect as far as I am concerned. The thing that motivated me to do so was run in with a WRX after work one day. I reeled him in pretty easy in a straight line but in the twisties he made me look pretty bad. I pushed the car to it's limits and he just ran away . I was so mad I ordered the springs the very next day. I have been thoroughly pleased with them. But I still don't think I could chase down that WRX .

I for one also don't understand the obsession with how many fingers of gap you have. But to each his own.
I'm 32 and personally I don't care about fender gap. I'm after speed and stability not who I'm going to impress. If that means I have to lower or raise my car that’s what I'll do. All I want is to get rid of the floaty rear end and be even front to rear and I'm not gonna drop the car 2" or put 2 grand plus in rims and rubber on the car to fill the "ugly fender gap". I have 10k miles on the car and when the craptenzas are worn and I have 20K+ on the car I'll look at some springs and shocks that are more stabile while getting some lighter rims that'll hold some 235's or 245's.
No I'm not happy about the suspension change that made to the car or the tires but I knew this stuff going in and I paid for it I'm not going to just throw it away. Not all of us here are after the show crowd or dropping crazy coin on looks. To me large, 2" or more, drops of any car just for looks is just rice. If your doing it to autocross and your lowering your CG that’s a different story.
This is JMHO and again to each his own.
