Accident on my lease car...help?

Hello all. I was hit nicely today. my entire rigth side is hit. Lower front bumper. HID cracked. Right fender destroyed. Passenger front door dented and scracthed. Rear passenger door. rear fender wheel well. My front right RIM, and my front left rim. Oh, and side view mirror.

This car is a lease, and 6 weeks old. Does anybody know the procedure, if any for leased cars? Are they different? Does it affect the buy out? Let me know.

Thanks.

You should try to maybe get it fixed at a good shop, and if you could maybe at the dealership. Jus cuz at the end of the lease they look over the car and make sure that itis in a condition to that of when they gave you the vehicle. If they fix it, then they cant say that a ****ty job was done to the car, and not try and charge you for it at the end of the lease...

I know i pay more on a lease, because its designed to help protect against the depreciation of teh vehicle. But, does anybody know a dollar value of when u think they wil right off the car?

I think they will total the car with 70%-80% worth of damage with respect to the car's value.

From what you described, there is a possibility that the frame might have some damage to it. If that is so, the insurance will most likely total it. Replacing the quarter panel(where the rear wheel well is) alone will cost about $3K up.

Are you serious? The rear 1/4 panel/ wheel well cost that much. Well, its all dented between that and the door.....why is it that much?

LIke i told you on the fone Greek to the malaka...

ITs the best thing that could ever happen

Forget the idea of 70% of the value of the car..

When i wrote of my car, my car was valued at about 40K... damage was about $15K... They still wrote it off as a result of the HID damages, and the electronic harness..

My frame was perfect, and body work was not substantial.

Many on the ORG thought my car was a repair, but it wasn't those guys wrote it off... Check out my pics:

I need to see your pics man... STupid canessies..
