Everytime I see a Max, I point it out, stating the Model, and the color. I think owning a Max is a disease, cause I've even got other people pointing Maximas out!

Not me. I used to, but there's *so* many of 'em here in Memphis, the novelty of seeing one wore off a long time ago. Almost all of 'em are *BONE* stock, too. In-season, I'll do the "test & tune" thing on Thursdays out at the Memphis Motorsports Park. I have been doing this for about two years, now. I have NEVER seen another Maxima out there racing, but the parking lot is just full of 'em. All I have to race against are riced-out Civics, 5.0's & such --which I walk all over-- or heavily modified domestic racers with SCs or throttle-in-a-bottle, racing slicks, etc. --which beat me to the finish line by 100-yds+! Ouch. That's no fun. Oh, well... maybe this year will be different.

I sure do. I have the sickness. (Obsessive-compulsive); I make eye contact with every Maxima I see. Aston Martins too, but I never see them.

 

okay, ill admit it, im OCD!!! Its gotten to the point now that wheneve me and my friend are in my max on the road and i see a Maxima and say, "Maxma", she points to any other car and says, "not a Maxima"

 

i not only point out a max, i count and keep track of them. like on the way to school, i'll count how many 5th, 4th, 3rd, etc, gen max. it pisses off any1 else in the car, but like i give a s***, its my car and i will say what i want to.

 

I'm not the only one that does this. I usually try to see what the person looks like that's driving one--some people surprise you, some don't.

 

I'll say 4th gen,5th gen,3rd gen,.......and she knows It's like theres one and another I also like to roll up beside a stock Maxima and look at them ,like .....huh....sup!......jus rollin' on smiling....turnin' heads oh I'm sorry...... but yeah I count them and say the years and colors I know them at night too by the headlights and taillights......Maximas are all that and a bag of chips................when you roll up on one that just has the "normal" mods-tint,big chrome rims,audio upgrades...it's like huh.........................................I got mine lowered,clears,red/clears,intake and interior stuff it feels good being the only Max in my little area that is definatly different.....not the "average joe's Maxima"....ya no.......we all on here share the modded past stock look......springs,intake,......................... .I'm sorry am I rambling my 22 month old son is running all around me...

i like being the only custom max in my area but this is getting annoying...so far i have seen 2 others in person...1 was at a local dealership (5spd...they put in a supercharger, stillen exhaust, rims, stillen body kit), and i saw a red one lowered w/ exhaust...not sure what else it had

i raced a guy in a modded cl-s one time who said he also owned a maxima so he wanted to know what i had done etc.

i want someone to talk to around here in arizona...DAMNIT!
