I had the weirdest things happen the other week.

My girlfriend and I were going to deliver a package when all of a sudden she says that maybe we should get a 3rd car. I was thinking "w-w-what?!?" She then said that 'normal' families have at least three cars. Again...'w-w-what?!?' We already own a big house, the '01 Maxima SE, and '02 Sentra SE-R together. She goes on to say that we should have an 'extra' car, one that family and friends can use when they visit us. We come out of the delivery place and she looks at the parking lot and sees a new Mini and loves it, and says it it even cuter than the PT Cruiser that she likes. I look around and spot a G35 Coupe, and I tell her I want that next. "Maybe after we pay off the Maxima we can get the car you want," she says.

Then I half-joke that I want to turbocharge the Maxima, but it would cost a few thousand dollars. Without saying anything else, she goes 'get it.' You know that I was thinking..."W-W-What?!?" I thought I was on Bizzaro World or something.

Unfortunately, we want to get another house in a few years (being a slum lord is better than investing money in stocks), so I just told her "We can live with a few years without car payments soon, and a turbo in the Maxima might mess up the transmission, so it's okay, sweetie."

Weird of her to give the thumbs-up to that stuff, though. I love her.

 

Not only that... my g/f is getting into the whole driving experience now. It is something else when I talk to my g/f and she tells me about her new 'kill'... when a Civic with a fart pipe tried to take her at a stoplight.

 

chicks r like parking spots, all the good ones r taken, and all the rest are handicapped.
