Any Pics of Sterling Mist 02-03 with Clear Corners

Hi,

I've had clear corners in a box for over three months. Just haven't found time to install them. Now that the weather is a little better, I'm thinking about doing them.

I do like the stock look of what I have now so I'm not sure if I should change them. Would any of you Sterling Mist owners please post pics of your Maximas with the clear corners?

Thanks for your help!!!

I have that same set up. IMO it looks better than stock. I have red and amber LEDs on the lights. Look at my homepage for pics.

In my opinion, ANY color 5th gen Maxima looks much better with the clear corners. I had mine on 10 minutes after bringing the car home for the first time (took them off the 2k before trade-in, put them on the 2k3.) Installation is a snap, there is a great writeup available in the 'How-to' section at the top of this forum. Definitely re-seal them with some clear silicone first though, it keeps the moisture out. Otherwise you end up with condensation and you have to take them off again to get it out.

I still cant bring myself to do this. I just don't see that it looks that great on a silver car. But on a dark car like Majestic blue they are a must have.

I'm somewhat in the same boat as you. My Max is Satin Blue Pearl and I'm considering buying the clears too. I know I definitely don't like the orange in the front, but the red in the rear seems to compliment the red in the SE tails well. I guess you could do just the fronts, but IMO if I'm going to do the clears I guess I will do the front and back.

Decisions, Decisions!

I have 2K2 majestic blue with just front clears and I love it. red does match up with the 2K2 tails well.
