Maxspeed/KYB GR-2 pix (pre-settle)

Here are a couple pix of my new setup after cleaning:

Pic 3

Overall I am very impressed for the two days the setup has been installed...The car hits bumps like butter, traction seems grippier (if that makes any sense), no more floaty feeling, and high speed driving seems not so scary anymore.

If anyone is contemplating a drop, this is the combo right here:
Maxspeed springs
KYB GR-2 struts

the struts are much more road compliant than the cheezy stock Tokicos!!!

Get Teins, it will be an inch lower. The ride isnt too bad either, the 1st week sucks though.

lets see....

$125 shipped for Maxspeed springs (ebay)
$314 shipped for KYB GR-2's (groupbuycenter.com)
$275 for labor including tax, alignment
-----
$714 total for everything

I'm lovin it more and more as I drive it more...

As for the Teins, this drop is PERFECT for me and my environment. I didn't want to go too low being that I live in NYC, have to deal with potholes, and high curbs.

2k2nyc had eibachs and had to dump em for the H&R's because of the high curbs and roads over here. I was not about to have to do a setup over a second time.

I originally was going H&R's but for basically the same drop (Maxspeeds being a bit lower), I figured **** why not save a couple bux and buy Maxspeeds at half the price.

Thank you everyone for your comments, I most definitely appreciate it all......but as I stated before, anyone contemplating a decent drop without over doing it and wanting a nice subtle ride which illeviates the "factory float", go with this combo.....
