Kyb Gr2

Just bought maxspeed spring from GD and need help on where to buy and how much is it GD ended already. Does the bumpstops have to be trimmed?? Help a newbie out!!

There is also a GD on KYB GR2. I dont know if it's too late. Go and check in the GD forum.

ive got the eibach/GR2 setup and did not trim my bumpstops, and ive havent bottomed out yet...

I was thinking about Teins but maxspeed was cheaper maybe in the future.

Yeah I didn't even see the bumpstops when changing out my shocks so I didn't cut mine and I've never bottomed out.

Well... i just ordered a set of KYB-GR2s and I have my TEINs in the garage. I can't wait to get them installed. :-)

im getting eibach springs really soon and doing the install my self hopefully but i was wondering should is pend the extra money and get the KYB-GR2's or can i use jsut the stock struts???????????

Yes, go ahead and change the struts at the same time. The stock struts don't do very well with the Eibach's. The stockers are a little too weak for the stiffer Eibach springs, tend to not last very long, and tend to be bouncy because they have problems controlling the stiffer springs. The GR-2's are an excellent compliment to the Eibach's.
