what should i do to my 2000 maxima SE with just $400?

Get a rear sway bar then front strut bar. You can definitely feel the RSB make your car corner a lot flatter.

Go to ebay and get a Bombz strut bar. It's cheap and does the job

I'd say get an intake and a new head unit or a tint

 

An intake, y-pipe...or hell just cruz as is with a $200 hooker for a couple of hrs!

 

save it for your coils! they are expensive

 

i'm saving up $400 myself, for suspension - shocks and struts. you get two mods in one: a performance mod (better cornering, more control) and a cosmetic mod (lowered look, sleeker and non-stock-looking). can't beat that!

 

The cheapest I've seen was on www.courtesyparts.com and the other on www.custommaxima.com .

 

400 bucks, i would grab an intake and an aluminized steel Y pipe from WSP

 

go buy yourself a lobster and steak dinner instead
