Buying a max... Have some questions!
I'm considering a purchase of a 2000-2001 maxima. I LOVE the cars, however, i'm having a hard time finding a good site that tells me the options and features. So i have a couple questions
Does traction control come on any of these cars? Is it a factory option or a standard feature?
Does auto climate control some with all SEs with leather or were they seperate options?
Can you get a GXE with leather or were they all cloth?
I REALLY want a Black 2000 Maxima SE with Black leather, but I dont know if it came with auto climate control and traction control. I'm currently driving a turbo civic which is basically the prime of inconvenience and rice, so i'd like this next car to be clean w/ some luxury! But i'm not quite an old man just yet (I'm 19) so something in the 20k price range would be too pricey for me. ANYWAYS, any help would be greatly appreciated an this is an awesome forum you guys got here! Oh yeah, anyone know where i can find a brochure for one of these cars? I guess thats kinda bizzare to ask for but its possible!!

check out edmunds.com
you will find a ton of info including info about all used cars. make sure you check out their buying tips articles. it will take a few hours to read through but it will save you thousands. plus you will be confident in purchasing your car.
always do a carfax, and mechanics inspection on any car you purchase. it will not be 100% failsafe but will do a great job of weeding out many lemons or previous wrecks.

I can't remember the all the rules that went along with configuring a 2001. I think the GXEs came in cloth only... edmunds would probably be your best bet. I actually have an old brochure at home that I can take a look at tonight.
I am actually selling my 01 SE - black int/ext. The car has Auto climate control and every other option...
