Sprint Springs installed on my 2002 Nissan Maxima

I measured both front and back and the middle of the fender is around 25 3/4" - 26" inches high. The wheel gap in the rear is basically 1 finger. The front is 2 fingers. The look is simply amazing. The ride is rough. I am running these springs on stuck struts for now. Do you guys think either Tokio or KYB springs will smooth the ride out or is that not going to happen with this aggressive of springs?

Here are some pictures. Vote on my cardomain site if you don't mind.

Here is my car before:

Here it is after:

Dizam, I love that silver. Drop looks nice, too low for my taste, but looks nice.

Thanks for the compliemnts. The drop looks uneven because the front wheel well is bigger than the rear. I can fit 2 sideways fingers between the tires and the top of the wheel well in the front and only 1 in the rear. When I measured on level ground, they were both around 25 3/4" - 26" off the ground. We got the springs installed in 2 hours and 45 minutes. Thanks to Dallas Nissan Enthusiasts for all the hard work! We had a little fun as well.

A reason Sprint springs dont look like they sit level is because the front fender is bigger than the back one. The car does sit even, but the difference in size of fenders is what makes it look like it doesnt. Your car looks great!

The car looks very very nice. If I may ask, how much did the springs run you? And where did you buy them from?

Thanks in advance

Cost from Southwest Auto Works was $150 shipped. He gave me the group deal price.

No that can't really be adjusted unless you get springs that drop less in the rear and more in the back.

That was more my question.....Does Sprint make the ones that drop less in the rear to compensate for the fender?

Nope. I think Eibachs and Maxspeed do. The main question though is do you want your car to look level or be level? My car sits amlost perfectly level. Teins are the same way I think except more of a drop then mine. It would worry me about how stiff an extra .4" drop be.

Hummm......it looks level now, and I hope it is level.

Either way, I guess I would rather it look level.

I installed myself with the help of my Nissan Enthusiast group (DNE). There was 3 of us. The part that was the biggest PITA was taking out the rear seat to get access to the rear strut bolts. It is much easier with help. You have to stand on the front rotor to get the struts out. This is one of the first times I was glad I weighed 225. :-D

Please help me make my ride better.

I decided to install my Sprint springs on the stock struts. When we installed the, we did not trim the bump stops. Now I feel almost every road imperfection. I am not a pro on lowered cars so please help me out.

If I trim the bump stops, would that help?

Is it just my choice of Sprint springs that is the problem because they are so agressive (1.8" drop)?

Would Maxspeeds feel the same?

If I buy KYB or Tokio struts will that help or just make it more firm?

Has anyone ever just upgraded the front struts and left the rears stock? The rear springs aren't that much shorter than the stock.

Swallows good or bad? Is it rough or what? I'm thinking of this combo but I'm scared to make my car into a rough riding wannabe sports car that wasn't.

Can you give a before and after comparison of the ride quality?

Thanks

hey bro,,whats going on?? Swallows as in good....there's no more "rebound" action going on like with stock, whereas the stock would do the whole "bouncy bouncy" type thing going over bumps, it doesn't do that anymore....it just hits and bump and moves on with itself...

roads without bumps (most of LI), the car rides like its on smooth glass......

overall I was very impressed and very surprised...with my old 3rd gen I remember (its been soo many years) that with the Tokico/Eibach combo the car road stiff...not the case with this combo....

any more questions feel free to ask spta...I know ur totally against this type of stuff but Spta, if you ever feel the need to "road test" this suspension setup, I'll be more than happy to oblige!!!

Cool, thanks dude. How much installed for the set? Also, do you have stock rims or did you go bigger? My buddy is lowering his Accord and depending on how cool that looks I may have to lower my Max.
