Interior question..

I have a Grey Lustre 2k max with black leather interior. I wonder why Nissan decided to put Tan (tan!) interor parts in my car! I want black all around me! Do other Maxes with Tan interiors have black parts? The pieces I'm speaking of are:

A pillar..where the Tweeters are.

B Pillar where the seatbelt assembly is.

C pillar? In the back..

I wonder if anyone would be willing to trade with me? Mine are in good shape.

Should be easy enough to swap them out I would think. Who is interested?

If not I'm gonna have to hit a Junk Yard.

Not sure about the 'tan' parts but you will not find one with black all around. They 'two-toned' the interiors basically from the window sills up.

Mine is the same way. Black interior but tan from window sills up. I like the way it looks.

Im trying to eliminate my two tone. Are you saying that no one has black parts from the sills up?

I dont think it would look good in all black. Alight color (tan) is ok. all black would look like a dungeon.

Black wouldn't look bad. I'm pretty sure my 3rd gen (black/black) was all black in the interior except for gray roof.

Thats what Im looking for. I guess DaveB would be the to ask...If there are parts numbers for black trim, then that would answer my question.

Wow...I've owned the car for almost 2 years and I never noticed the two tone scheme until now.

maybe it's just on GXE's and SE's. on my GLE (frost interior), i got no black in my interior, except the radio buttons. steering wheel, all pillars, door trim, etc, is all frost, and upper dash is a darker frost.
