muffler question!!!

Does it matter if my muffler comes out straight or to the right? Because it makes a noise like a little CRX (you know bul***t). My muffler comes out to the right and i hate this sound When I had a 2k2 my muffler it was straight out and i dont remember if the sound was bad... A friend told me last week that the sound is bad and i heard today my car from ouside and YES my noise is BAD What do you guys think?

Well take it back to him or sell it to some fool. Go get the Powertech muffler. I've heard nothing but good from it and will be purchasing one for myself in the near future.

Ohh you mean its at an angle. Thats a rice muffler man, who told you to get that? BTW go with your custom b-pipe idea and get a resonator. Some muffler shops will use a glasspack resonator, it works fine. Dont think its loud cuz its a glasspack, if its like 30" long and you have a muffler you will be fine. If you want a deep and throaty sound get a flowmaster 40 or 50 series muffler or a borla. If you want just DEEP get a magnaflow. btw out of all the mufflers at idle, the best tone ive heard is the magnaflow but it can get anoying with constant driving. Hmmm....check out this site. Click.
Dynomax will offer better flow but very little increase in noise.

Straight mufflers look good on a Max, I don't think the angled muffleres look good on any car IMO.

Yes please do go back to straight. If you had a 240sx then who cares, but go back to straight. Unless you want to get a non0rice muffler and mount it at an angle its your car man do as you wish with it, but just get a diff brand muffler to avoid the severe constapation releasing sounds while driving.
