Cams, forged pistons, and forged rods for the VQ35

Check out the website.

These are advertised for the 350Z. Is there any reason why they wouldn't work in our engines?

For some reason I thought this would generate some more interest or excitement. I'll give it one bump in case anyone missed it.

This is teh most exciting news to date....one downside....some of those mods only make the internals stronger, yet not making HP.

I did not order them. I am still debating. A group deal wouldn't really help us either. I did try asking.

If you look at the cost of the same parts for more popular MODs cars, u will see a much cheaper pruce, 50% less. If nobody else makes these parts, we will pay the price.

I will not pay the price. I would do exactly what another .org memeber is doing and have custom made rods and pistons. And for less money.

30 whp sounds a bit optimistic for just cams. The great thing about the cams besides the power they add themselves, is that it's now worth it to do some head, intake manifold, and throttle body work.
Now if SR20DEN would just come up with the fuel injector upgrade we would be set.

Hold on a sec, if the injectors are produced (hopefully soon ) We should easily be able to run the cams, not to mention the headers which showed to gain appx 30whp on the 3.5 altima so the gains for the max would be similar. Cams+Headers should easily equate to 60+whp gain! Since the heads are gonna be out to do the cams, why not polish a few things up in there and get some stronger springs and lighter valves to top things off. Bottom line is at the rate things are goin by early next year the 3.5 should be able put down around 300whp in N/A from if stillen ever produces the headers and the cams. Low 13's or even high 12's should be within reach in N/A form if this all falls through. The headers on the alti made it run lean so the injectors are a must not to mention an AFC-II or something of that sort.

As I said, 300whp is possible with those. Just the headers and cams should yeild around 280whp. Little teaks here and there will surpass the 300mark.

I doubt this engine will ever be able to produce 300 N/A whp under the 6550 rpm rev limit. Ferrari, Honda, Porsche and BMW don't even produce results like that.
