Titanium shift plate "scratches"
Titanium shift plate "scratches"
Okay... Firstly, I did do a search for this but didn't see any related topics.
I have a titanium edition '03. After a couple weeks of ownership these mysterious scratches appeared horizontally across the shift plate. I notice that this portion of the plate (pretty much intersecting the "D") heats up during operation. I'm wondering if they're heat or stress related.
Has anybody else seen this? I'm thinking about getting the dealer to replace the plate. Although it will be useless to risk them screwing something else up if the "scratches" will just reappear anyway.
