Tire help

I have a 2k1 GXE Maxima(black) that came with the 15" steel rims/hubbies, and I recently purchased the same year aluminum wheels (original equip. on the SE; 17x7's). I still have the original crap tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE92's), and I don't know which tires to go with for the new rims. I've heard you have to get the same overall diameter on the new tires or your speedometer/odometer will not read right; can anyone clue me in as to what tires I need? Thanks for the help.

To start with, please read the FAQ's on tire sizes that fit, etc.

Once you have determined which you want to go with, it will narrow down your choices. Alot of people here will say Michelin Pilot Sport A/S's but those are pricey and there are other options...again just depends on the size you want.

Re: Tire help

I think I have it narrowed down to 3 tires: the Yokohama AVS ES100, the Kuhmo ECSTA MX, or the Kuhmo ECSTA 712. Anyone have these tires that can give me a review (esp. regarding how long they actually last under aggressive driving conditions). Thx again. --Spring02--
