Auto World has tested the 20th Edition Maixma, with quarter miles in 15.4 secs..not all that impressing compared to regular SE!!!!!!

I guess someone can easily reach low 15 with that car just like some of us here have reach high 14s with 2k maximas.

Huh?

I’d guess that slower time was just part of the variation you get from different people testing the same car. There’s no way the same car w/ 5 more HP is slower. Maybe it was an auto… 15.4 would be pretty good for an auto, right?

in my opinion, 5 hp doesn't do much, and maybe the car's a little heavier, possibly due to the body kit.

5 HP probably doesn't do much. The AE is probably not noticeably faster than any other 5th gen. But that body kit is not very much in the way of sheet metal. I just don't buy that the AE is any slower. If there's any difference at all, it'd have to be faster.

Hmmmm.... maybe we should step outside and settle this?

Just for the sake of science, I'll be more than happy to race a stock 5th gen auto.

Takers? I'm in Dallas.
