Got pulled over last night...
So my lady and I are driving in downtown on one of the main streets that was still pretty damn busy at ~12am, trying to hook up with some other heads to get some ice cream. I notice that a cop is following me, and roll down my front windows becaue I am still paranoid about my new tint
Suddenly, I see the familiar flash of lights and horn beheind me, so I pull over wondering what exactly it is that I am being pulled over for. Cop gets out, approaches my car real slowly and stops at the back window, leans forward with his maglite and asks me if I know why I was pulled over. "No," I say. He proceeds to tell me that I have no plates or tags or anything. I point to the registration stuck onto my windshield and say that it's a brand new car. The look on his face was priceless. He asks for my licenses, looks at it for 5 seconds, asks me if the car is mine, and speeds away after someone else. Ahh.. the joys on downtown San Francisco at 12am.

LOL. Nice man!
To follow with my steak of bad luck, yesterday I'm leaving work with my buddies all in separate cars, 3 of us. I'm the first in line and I come to the stop sign at the end of the strip-mall looking thing, slow down look left look right and continue rolling. Right before I'm about to turn I look left again to see a car coming at me fairly close. I floor it, since I was already halfway out, jerk the wheel over so I end up drifting into the left lane, since the car was in the right lane. After my heroic escape from the parking lot I look over to see what car it is, and yes of course, it was a P-71 edition CROWN VICTORIA! lol My friend at the next stopsign further down runs it also before noticing it was a cop. Thankfully the cop was en-route to a white van in the middle of a scottsdale road, pulled over with 4 other cop cars behind it. One of my first lucky breaks. lol

Haha, Phatman, good shiz. I got lucky about 5 months ago when a cop let me slide after I ran (more like snoozed at 10 mph) through a red light right in front of him. I was very greatful.
Slick, of course - had it for a week exactly.
SF huh..we should meet up sometime...im in alameda, and theres a bunch of us around that aera.
Word.. we can get something going.

California doesn't have temporary tags? That seems kind of stupid to me--all you have to do is steal a car and drive around with no plates. How are the cops supposed to know unless they pull you over?
"as Police officers, they'd be a bit more observant!"
He's supposed to see some piece of paper stuck to windshield when he's driving BEHIND the guy's car and looking through tinted glass!?

besides I would have paid more attention to you and your car if I hadn't been driving for hours (*AutoPilot Engaged*)I won't call my car
just a mildly modded auto
The only sticker I have on the car is for SCCA soloII. Anyway sorry about "not showing the love" I was a tired, tired driver.
I'm from SF also. One time I was pulling out of my friend's garage and drive around to see if I still feel exhaust leaks. I drove to the end of the block, made a U turn at a 4 way stop sign (very common in SF) and then just when I was about to pull into my friend's garage a cop pulls me over. I was thinking "wtf"? (soo close to the garage yet so far). So the lady goes up to me and says "do you realize what you did"? I didn't know where the cop came from so I just said no. So she gave me a long list of things that I did "failure to yield to a stop sign going eastbound, then northbound, then westbound". I was thinking.. damm, is that even legit? but eventually the cop just let me go with a warning. That was pretty close, I got really lucky.
ok hopefully i'll be getting more footage tomorrow but here's one clip of me and my friend (325ci) passing a bunch of cars in the oncoming traffic lane. (it was legal except for the speeding) The camera is in my car.

Roastduck - you got a nice cop, hah.
Darius - haha, good shiz. It's all legal, but what if the oncoming car is a popo?
Arthur, I have 17% tint on my car, and yes he could have gotten me for those, but my 2 front windows were down.
