Hot new mod !

We have a "Hot New Shift ****" comming for the Maxima! I currently own a Altima 3.5, and have been a member of Altima's Net for several years, I aways come and look here, because you guys have a great and informative site. Over 2 years have been spent to perfect this ***** design. What is unique about this **** is that the top portion holds a scratch and uv resistant optical grade lens under which I can put the 6 speed gated shift pattern. At night the pattern will light up in white, green, orange like our fine vision guages. By day the logo top looks black and white, just like a high end o.e.m style ****. The **** itself is CNC machined and polished aluminium and then it's powder coated in clear satin for extra protection. Most ***** use a aluminium coller to hide the 3 set screws,we use polished stainless steel for a higher quality unit. The **** is also counter balanced and very heavy for crisper throws. The tri-led's use a proprietary deffuser to evenly distribute the light into the shift pattern logo. We are currently working on the 6 speed logo pattern, and should have something ready in around a week. If you want an idea of what the **** will look like go to Altima's Net into the "New 2002-2003 discussion section and look up "Hot New mod!", or Wild ****** post "Let me tell you about Dallas's ****". Some of you guys already know Wild ***** as he sells the custom dead pedals etc.

the orange light will look horrible on the Maxima, if you can get it to light up the same way that the boses. and climate control light up then it would be interesting

asu174- Thanks for posting the pic's ,I thought the 6 speeds are orange
what years are they green?Must be the 6th gen's that are orange. I can easily do the back lighting in green. Please remember that the **** posted posted is only a "protype Altima style logo" I would design a 6 speed shift pattern for you guys!

The pictures skew the size of the **** and make it look
bigger and wider than it is.It looks much better in person
ask anyone on Altima's net who has one! Now if you can
imagine the 6 speed gated pattern and white, green, orange, your choice of back lighting!

Better yet, can the bulbs inside be changed out? This way whoever personally like whichever color can just get those. Just a suggestion or will it be too big of a PITA to take it apart. If so green is the color of the interior lights at night but I guess an LED blue or something would look sick as well...

The 3 led's are epoxied in with a light deffuser, and then the lenz has to be seated and secured into the ****. This is a very time consuming procedure. I can assemble them with your choice of back lighting but once its in it's in for life!

i personally would accept a whitish color, since my dash is mostly white, and my head unit illuminates in white as well. what is the expected price?

Thats what I figured it would be. So I guess once you finish up the prototype for the 6spd can we possibly contact you and get custom LEDs in diff colors inside? Or are you leaning more on just 1 kind. I dont know what color id want just yet but a choice from 5 or so LED's would be nice. Post back once the prototype is complete, consider me interested in the future...

Dallas...glad to see you took my advice and started making the Maxima ****!!

I got my **** from Dallas about a month ago...Let me tell you...It is the most high quality item in or on my entire car. Dallas is in Canada and his customer service is excellent. He responded to all of my questions and had my order to me here in the states in no time at all!

There is not a **** on the market like it...nor will there be one made with it's quality. I looked for 2 years....and am so glad I waited.....

It is however...a road hazzard...I find myself staring at the **** when I drive cause it is so freakin sweet.....Then I look around the rest of the vehicle....and am brought to my senses by the sea of cheap plastic

Any questions...you guys who have my pedals and e-mail me..I will send you pics of my ****..if requested (The one in my car)

I for one would only get blue . Most people on the .Org seem to prefer blue lighting in the interrior and spend countless hours to change the white or green lighting. If you could do a search for "blue" it would get like a million hits (look for "keyring light" too).

One question about the ****, I know it's bad to rest your hand on the stick shift because the extra weight screws up the syncros. Would the same be true for a heavy shift ****?

Oh, will the Maxima one have the shift gate numbers as previously stated? Anyone with a pic if it in a Maxima please post.

only at maxima.org, if only you guys could see the topics in OT. The SHIFTER **** looks great, im guessing your taking account of the reverse lockout ring on the 2k2 6speeds..and i would prefer white or blue. on the 6 speed shift pattern. 1-2-3
