2003 SE 6sp

I know this question probably has been asked a million times so far and I appologize in advance. But.....how much should I expect to pay for a 2003 SE 6sp fully loaded and leather minus navigation. It's used with 6k on the odometer. Any input would be appreciated.

Around 28K to 30K (I think) Go to www.edmunds.com. They got this little search thingy.

I bought a 2003 GLE with 9000 miles on it in April. I paid $23,400 with no trade to skew the figures. If your car has no previous colision repair and is in like new shape, I think $25,000 should get it.

Thanks for your input, as usual you guys are very helpful. I'm hoping to pick one up for about 22-23k within the week. Just wanted to make sure I'm somewhat in the ballpark.

22-23k for a new 2k3 6 speed max fully loaded sounds about right. I think someone in the org just bought one like a month ago.

yeah go as low as possible, walk out the door a couple times.....the dealers NEED to move these units....

As I've stated in the past, EVERY day that car sits on the lot, the dealer takes it up the a$$ in depreciation.....

you have great bargaining power now!

you say "used with 6,000 miles" ... was it ever titled? If it wasn't titled they're going to try to say it's still technically "new" and want more than $22k.

also, "used with 6,000 miles" usually means "demo." Was it? I'd avoid a demo car at all costs (but that's just my opinion).

Yeah that definetly helps. You got a GREAT deal. The one I'm looking at is not at a dealer lot, so I'm hoping to be able to get a decent deal depending on how badly they want to get rid of it.

Thanks mille, yeah I think we did well too. The circumstances were perfect, and it really helped that the guy we bought from had paid cash for the Max and thus wasn't upside-down in a loan like a lot of folks trying to sell near-new cars are.

FWIW, for those that follow the "Real-World Trade-In Values" thread at Edmunds.com, the "pros" pegged my car at $21K-ish for a fair private party value.

Good luck!

I was looking at one similarly equipped that was brand new (50 miles on it); all opts minus nav and meridian, and had negotiated down to $25,000. Ended up with a different one that did have the Meridan, but no leather package for $24,000. That was just a couple weeks ago too. I'd say for what you're talking about $22-$23k would be a fair deal. I tell you though, davearm got a GREAT deal. That's a lot of car for $20k and change. I think that kind of deal would be a little hard to come by though.

I like this quote from the e-bay ad:

This vehicle has always been garaged and the reason for selling is a new addition to the family.
That's the reason I bought my Maxima!
