ADMAN Sayz Goodbye...

Well, I finally did it. I got rid of the Maxima. As you know, I haven't been too thrilled with it lately.
It's too loud and it's too slow and it has too many seats. And, the new Max is simply too fugly
for my liking. So, I got a Brickyard Performance 6 Speed instead. About damn time...

Thanks for the and the the past few years...TimW, BigDog et al.
I guess I'll be seeing y'all (in my rearview mirror) at some point...

congrats on ur purchase....although I wouldn't say that the 350z is A LOT faster than our 02-03's......the HP is actually quite equal except the 350z will have been traction off the line being that it's RWD...

nonetheless, congrats and don't be a stranger!!!

you might want to check out my350z.com and club350.com

No, what difference does the "Brickyard Performance" mean?

I've never heard of it. Tell me it's more than just the color paint.

That's what I needed.

Just wondering, but what's the difference on the hood between the track and performance?

Brickyard is the color to have... it's going out in 2004 so you'll almost never see another one like yours. Good choice.

I bet a little less attention will be paid to the Honda now. Nice choice on a sports car! To bad I have to drive clients around all day hence the 4 doors.

Do I smell a new Z showing up at the autox?

I cant lie, I miss max.. I dropped it off last night around midnight. It was hard seeing it there. My wife and I took a moment. The car was good to me, even if NNA wasnt so much.. Driving it around after buying the G, I really felt I was letting go of a great car. I dont regret the G, but the max had so much 'good-car-ness' left in it.

Been there, done that.

Don't worry...as long as you ALWAYS upgrade and never downgrade, you'll get over it real fast.

It's when you downgrade that you SUFFER 4ever.

Yeah, they are supposed to be discontinuing that color shortly after the
Roadster comes out. But, you know how NNA lies about things.

That is another reason why I went with the Brickyard.
Besides, it's friggin awesome in the daylight!!!

And, man-oh-man, is it a blast to drive...FINALLY!

I put a Procharger on a 2000 Escalade a few months back and got 120+RWHP out of it! They are intercooled and not for kids! You should see the look on other SUV or pickup owners when I just pull the $hit out of them. Ran a brand new Chevy, done deal by 3 lengths in one block. Another Tahoe 2002+ pulled him just as bad. The truck puts down 380rwhp pushing it, but safely at about 11.5-12 A/F ratio puts down 326rwhp. BTW I picked up 110rwhp above 4500rpm with a dyno tune. I had it pig rich.

BTW the dyno readings are low with no program to lock the TQ when we ran it
