Am I correct in assuming that the search function does not work for anyone?

Thanks

In the 'site announcement' section it says that the search function has been disabled in order to improve system performance.

Oh, no kidding!!! Funny how it has been sooooo loooonnnnnggggg that we are actually agreeing on this!!!

Thing is, beside telling others where to find stuff, there are some things I would just like to look up for myself, but are not really worth a full thread.

Deductive Reasoning

Logic would dictate that the INCREASE in lengthy redundant threads would likely offset the proported performance increase on the servers incurred by disabling the SEARCH function!!!!

Here endeth the sermon.....

Not so my man. I can and do use it. I always wonder how sites like Altimas.net managed to maintain "better" servers than our site. I mean I visit there quite often since I also own a 98 Alty and have never had a problem. Not to mention the kids there have huge sigs/avatars that post with each and every single post.
