offset question

Is a +42 offset ok for the 5th gen? Will it stick out?

sorry to ***** ur thread, but if 42's fit.. then what is the maximum offset that we can put on our cars.. for rims that are 19x8.5?

+42's won't stick out. i think stock is very close to that number, i jus' can't remember what it is. you could get 19x8 with +42's for perfect rim tuck. jus' remember that if you do get 19's, get 35 series tire (maybe 245/35/19's) or they will slightly rub (depending on the springs). hope that helps!

18x8 wheels with a 35mm offset is perfect fit for the Maxima.

stock = 45; the smaller the number the farther out they will stick. the offset is the distance from wheel mounting surface to the inner rim lip.

so for rims that are 19x8.5 we cna have a +48 offset? or do u think that will look nasty?
