BOSE left speaker not working.

I noticed that my left speaker is not working sometimes in my BOSE stereo.

I read here before that it was because of the head unit and not the speaker itself.
So should I just tell the dealer and they will replace the head unit, any TSB for it?

Thanks.

I believe there is an actual TSB for this now but I don't know the number of it.

Here is the thread that explains the cutout of the speakers. It is the HU, not the speakers. I had mine replaced back in December.

Ok thanks, I am just afraid if I say to my dealer that my left speaker is not working they will replace speaker and not the HU. Do you think Nissan is familar with this issue?

I just found the TSB number. I don't have a copy of it though.

Dany,
I took my 03 in for the same problem about two weeks ago. My left front and rear speakers sounded like crap and it only occured when the CD player was in use. If you forced the player to switch CD locations, it would sound fine for a short while, then screw up again. The tuner sounded fine. There's proof it's the head unit. The service manager had not heard of this problem and could not find a TSB on it but did not hesitate to replace it. They ordered a new h/u and replaced it in less than a week. Sounds like new again.
