Need good paint job

I have a white 2002 Maxima SE and hate the color. It gets dirty really easy and not to mention the paint that we all know sucks. I have paint chips everywhere on my hood, some as long as 4 inches. Is there anywhere that I can get a high quality factory like paint job? Don't want to be able to look at the car and say it was painted. Only place I know is Maaco. Thanks.

All I have to say is try black if you think white is hard to keep clean.

You know, it might actually be cheaper and better in the long run just to trade the car in on a color you like. Between the expense of a professional (not Maaco) paint job and the decreased resale value (since not many people want to but a car that has been painted, especially a newer one), just try to find another 2k2 or a 2k3.

I totally agree with you jjs....i always wanted to customize paint my car...but resale will definitely be a problem...

A truly quality paint job will cost you a minimum of $3,000 at a reputable body shop - an awful lot of money for cosmetic concerns. Keep in mind that lighter paints hide dirt better than dark paints. That sounds counter-intuitive, but it's the truth.

If you go to Maaco, you will have just spend $500. But in reality, you have just devalued you car $2000-$5,000 because no one wants a car that has a crappy maaco paint job.
