For you car none. For 2k2+ the gain isn't worth the coin.

Currently there is only 1 and that's Warpspeed Performance. Adding both the Y and B pipe I only gained 5hp and 6tq which most likely was the B pipe. The stock B pipe is very restrictive. The Y pipe sounds awesome, but you won't gain much from it. Stillen is coming out with a headers/y pipe combo. On the Altima Automatic, it gave 35hp to the wheels more. The problem with the 2k2+ Maxima is that the precats are very restricitve and unlike previous versions, the precats are located before the Y pipe.

No, just 2k2+. 2k1 and older sould get 1 for a hp increase of 15-20, in some cases more.

Not really, the 2k2+ was re-designed to go with the 3.5L.

the stock y pipe has pre cats to reduce emissions when your vehicle first starts up, when the exhaust fumes are most detrimental to the environment. Those precats slow up airflow exiting the engine. The stock y pipe is also very chunky looking.

aftermarket y pipes get rid of those pre cats, maximizing airflow and horsepower. They are also very smooth and straight forward in design. The 2k-2k1's had the precats in the y pipe. The 2k2-2k3's have it before the precat, therefore getting a y pipe for them is not that beneficial.

I'd say either the Stillen or Cattman for Best Y-Pipe. Least ammount of fitment issues.

I have a 2K and was thinking about buying the Budget Y-Pipe since it seems to be the cheapest while still giving great gains. Can you elaborate on the fitment issues?

Thanks.

Are you sure the pre-cats aren't WITHIN the 2003 y-pipes? If they aren't, what's an alternative for ridding of these precats...
