Just finished doing it on my car & it works!!!

I did this b/c I hated not knowing when I was low on fluid unless I popped the hood & checked myself....& owning a SE Maxima I thought it came w/ that option but it didnt b/c it didnt have a certain package, per the dealership. Good thing the car came pre-wired

p.s. it might look hard but its not...also you dont have to take the fluid resvoir out like i did...but didnt know that till i already took it out...i put some text in there asap, but not today

i know we do....but if you dont have the package then it doesnt work

 

I've got a SE and mine works

maybe it comes with the automatic climate control or something

 

Not sure if it's because i have a '03 SE or what, but i have a base with only LSD and Sunroof and i have the light. I recently noticed it was functional because i was pushing the car around a corner and the light came on. Fluid is getting low.

 

Hmmmmnnnn....I wonder if mine has that.

I'll need it incase I get Aquamist WI.

 

Wow, I really all thought they came with it standard. Hell, my '68 GTO had that as standard equipment, and does my '02 Dodge Dakota...

It definitely works on my '03 Max GLE.

 

Mine works, and I don't have any of the "special" packages on my SE.

I know the sensor is there, whereabouts on the dash would it light up?

Also, where did the Evian bottle come into play?

I have Meridian on my 2K2, so do I have that option then? I've never let the fluid get that low anyways. Or I suppose I could get down there and look...hahaha

 

Could we just buy a new washer bottle with the sensor already in it?

Sounds like I have to bug DaveB again?

Level sensor= $15

Either way works for me!
