Any downside to using spacers?

Has anyone encountered a down side to using spacers on your Max?
What are the pros/cons?

The thicker they are the more stress they put on the wheel bearings. Also, the added stress can cause the lugs to break off.

Isn't 35mm the minimum that the max can take ? Make sure that you still have clearance between the wheel well and your rims.

Are there any 10mm spacers out there of good quality, like the H&R. H&R doesn't have 10mm, they have 5 then 15.

Thye put alot more stress on the hub bearings. Just buy correct offset wheels.
