Clutch TSB on 2003???

Has anyone had the TSB clutch work done on their 03? I notice when the cluth is released I hear a groan or clunking for 1/2 second as clutch is let out. It it just as described in the TSB but the TSB says 02's built before oct 02. Just asking. Not a major prob but I hear it....anyone with 03 6 speed out there hear this????

I had it done twice. The first time, there wasn't a TSB out for it yet, so they replaced the defective clutch with another defective clutch. So about 6 months later, the 2nd clutch started doing the same thing. They had released the TSB by then, so I took it to my Nissan dealer when I went. They called up NNA and verified that it was ok to perform the TSB (again) on my car. They replaced the clutch with a corrected one and I've had no problems since then.

The TSB is available at my website (click on my homepage and follow the links at the bottom).

I had the TSB done and it fixed that howling noise but now it is making creaking sounds when engaging in gear and pressing on the gas. Dealer had the car for 3 days now and no luck.

I had the TSB done myself, but i always had the same creaking noise you are describing. To me it just sounds like something needs to be lubricated. I hear it any time i press the clutch down and release it slowly. I'm going to try to lube it up one of these days. I don't think it has anything to do with the clutch itself. It's a completely different sound from what i had going on with the clutch disc.

Yes....creaking is a good desciption of it, just as you engage the clutch starting off. I may run it by my dealer and let them listen to it.
