Yes! I'm getting one in a couple months. It'll go well with my black rims.

Has anyone with charcoal color install the CF hood? How do you all think it would look? I think it would match, but I don't want it to match too much. Would like to stand out a bit if I'm puting the money into it.

ALL I CAN SAY IS HELL YEAH. Carbon fiber on white car = contrast = good thing get chrome hood pins too and dont paint the hood.
and like NT2SHBBY said get the pillars they would look tight on your ride. imma get a cf hood and the pillars to match after i get suspension and rims

I personally don't like the Carbon Fiber hoods. It would be nice to not have the rock chipped paint though. I am also a fan of the CF pillars.

I think a CF hood looks good on a white Max. I say go for it. I'm about to put one on mine and I'm a little concerned about how it looks on a black car. If I'm not happy with it I'll just get it painted.

I feel the same way. I not sure about the pillars yet though.
I know I want a CF dash kit but I can't find 1 with all the pieces I want and if I got the pillars I'd want the CF to match the dash kit.

Although I understand the lighter hood for running the 1/4 I just think it would look better pained on the top at least. Maybe even partially painted where the CF came through in certain spots to make some kind of geometric design.

In my opinion, CF hoods look good on black/dark grey cars since they blend in. The only time I like them on light colored cars is if the whole car is completely modded to look as it belongs on a track. Your heavy azz 19's imply that good looks is more important than performance. The hood is exactly the opposite. It says that you want all the performance you can get and you don't care that it doesn't match. Just my opinion.

You could always paint SOME of the hood so it's not 100% CF colored.

I think it'll look hot. But it would look even better if you had darker color rims.

Go for it!

I like CF hoods in general. On a white car it usually doesn't look that great, maybe a little better with some dark rims. But that's not the main issue...I would say you want to stick to a certain style...for rides like yours and mine that aren't going for the "racer" look, but more bling...haha
