I have it here in my house now. Can someone refresh me on the how to , of this mod. Im staring at the bolts, and wondering how to get them off without scratching my wing....?

I am very interested in this mod but for some reason the clear lens break light seems like it is not a direst fit.

This is where kpazzo got his from but it says that the lenght is 15.5 inches long. My led strip measures to be less than that.(14in I think)
Could my wing not be oem or something? I did buy my car used. And the wing definatly wasn't there from the factory. Does any one have any idea on this? Does it have to be modified or should it be a direct fit? I am so confused!

did u measure your stock led bar...if so, how long is it?

 

I did this mod on my 2k max. It was hard to do. None of the holes lined up u have to be inventive. And to get the old one off I had to break it. There was adhesive on there. I have a early 2k,b I bought it in sept 99. I dont if they changed it later on in production?

 

I put a lot of work into mine over the winter when I was board. But I used very little silicone and it comes right back off if needed. Not knocking Pazz but I just didn't want to use that much glue. I now have some condensation and I know where I went wrong, as cheap as these things are I will do another on when I've got nothing better to do. I may even buy a few and make them as close to stock as possible.
If you'd like to know what I did let me know.

I just measured it and it measures 14in wide. Can some one else measure there stock led strip. I need to find out if mine is different then the factory wing. Thought mine was OEM, just not installed from the factory. Maybe not?

My Max is white and I LOVE the way the clear LED looks on KPazzo's car...but I think it would be way too much for me to get involved with and actually have it turn out looking good.

I'm heading out to the parking lot now...I'll measure my stock LED bar for you guys.

Nope! I guess it is an oem style after market wing. That kinda sucks. No "Nissan" on it anywhere. I am going to try to look for a 14in led strip or look into buying an factory Nissan wing. Anybody have any other ideas/suggestions?

Thanks for the help everyone. I may have to live w/ this wing for a while. So much more I could do w/ $325 for now.(like fstb+ rsb) But thats pretty nice for the wing fully painted and free shipping. I think.

 

I've got an aftermarket spoiler and I'll measure it tomorrow. If it is the same then we'll be in the same boat.
