I've searched the archives and I just want to DOUBLE check before I order to see if anyone has any advice. Thanks!

Here is a description of what I plan on buying:

2)PIAA Super White Plat. H3 55 -> 85W(#PI-15455) or 85 -> 135W (#PI-15485) 1-pack
3)PIAA Plat. Super White #168 Wedge Bulbs(#PI-19169) 2-pack
4)Autodynamic Rear Clear Markers(#??)

Will all these match in color? Will I need a harness if I go with the 85->135 watt H3's for the fogs? Will the #168 Wedge bulbs work for BOTH the rear side markers and interior step lights? What bulb # should I go with for the dome and map lights from Polarg or Raybrig?

I'm still not sure about upgrading the fogs(H3), since I probbably won't notice a visual improvement right? Will I notice the 85 -> 135 watt bulbs?

 

you know, i'd actually opt to get PIAA Xtreme's on there. Those are the ones i'm looking on getting, myself.

these guys are pretty cheap compared to your Autodynamics and such.

if you really want the Super Plasmas, tho, i can sell ya mine. They're pretty new and work just fine. I just need the moola, that's all. lemme know.

Thanks for the reply! I don't believe I'll like the Plasmas due to their purplish color and decreased output.

What's better about the Xtreme's? I don't think I can go any higher than 55/60W in load without a harness. I checked out that website and their prices seem good, however the send a money order out of the U.S. terms is not to appealing. Anyways, I found the H4 Super Whites for $64 and this is a decent price.

i'm pretty sure they're legit. i know what you mean, tho, about the money order thing. considering the amount of information and time that they put into the site, well, it seems pretty legit.

you can contact them to find out more info or if it'll make you feel better. chances are i'll go through them when i get m'bulbs.

ask Y2KevSE, he's got Xtremes on his fogs.

look at the output rating at the site, also. 125/135W. it's not as blue as the other ones either (4150K). check it out. good luck.

 

I've tried all of them except for the Plat. SW wedges. The headlights and fogs should be similar in color if I recall correctly. I don't suggest getting the 85W fogs because our covers are made out of plastic (unlike 4th gens which are glass) and will melt due to the small volume of the assembly. You'll definitely notice the improved lighting, but is it worth messing up the fogs and the harnesses?

Yes, the wedges will work for all your markers, step lights, and trunk light. The dome light is like a torpedo looking thing. It's about 1 inch in length. The map light is a small rounded-tip bulb (like a mini incandescent bulb).

The Xtreme fogs are VERY similar to the Platinums. Only minor differences (i.e. slightly whiter).

The platinum wedge bulbs doesn't look anything like the headlights or fogs.
The only reason why i know is because i tried every wedge bulb out there

The Platinum just looks plain white while under a coat of clear plastic.
Looks kinda bluish/green/white
looks kinda funky to me.
