Well -- now that I've missed the boat on the GR-2's, my better sense has taken hold - and I am on a quest to install Adjustable Struts/Shocks.

I'm just about sold on the modified Cattman AGX/Progress spring combo, but I CANNOT find enough pictures of the DROP with progress springs to satisfy my lunacy.

CAN ANYNOE DIRECT ME to some pics of their 5th gen with PROGRESS SPRINGS??!! Your comments on your pleasure/displeasure with this setup would be greatly appreciated as well.....!

As much as I've read in the past few months on Springs & Struts, I don't seem to recall seeing much on the AGX/Progress Combo for 5th gens.

Please take pity on me -- I've done as many searches as my tired eyes can take for one night!!!

i think you got it backwards .....

first Progress, then Maxspeeds,,,, lastly the most infamous Teins...

Look up and do some research... Custommaxima was selling the Progress springs for awhile, the Maxspeeds came out, and just recently released Tein...

 

Er, I have nothing backwards. I was talking to ghostrider17.

First he wanted the Maxspeeds, then he wanted the Teins, and now he's interested in Progress.

Make sense now?

Sorry to beat the dead horse, as it has been beaten severely here lately!

As for the springs -- LCF got it right....
first I wanted Maxspeeds - Then I actually BOUGHT the TEINS to mate with the GR-2's - now I'm considering the AGX/Progress setup since the GR-2's are on Double-Secret backorder, and the warranty is void with the TEINs.

WHO wants to buy a BRAND new set of TEINS for $150 + shipping????

If Anybody has any input on their impressions of this setup ~PARTICULARLY the Cattman 4th gen AGX modified version ~ PLEASE feel generous enough to chime-in!

I have progress springs and the drop isn't even. I'm going to switch to the Teins and somehow mate them to the AGXs.

 

Interesting. It was dead even on my 2K. The amount of drop seems to vary between 2Ks and 2K2s.

 

I'd definitely be interested in the TEINs if the GD I'm in doesn't go thru. Can I PM you tom'w with an answer? Where are you located so I can kind of figure out shipping cost. Thanks.
