I've been thinking a/b getting an Optima yellow or red. About how much did yours cost?(if you don't mind my asking). Oh, and are you not using any kind of tie down? Just trying to stay on topic

$128 shipped
stinger digital and ground platinum terminals
interstate side CHARGING POSTS (not to be confused with gm terminal posts)
no battery tie down...no need for one....consider it a 1lb. reduction in weight....vroom vroom.

I disagree. Was it on the car stock from the showroom? If not, then IMO it is a Mod. If that isn't one, what is your definition of one?

i guess after awhile, or maybe a certain, some people don't even bother with certain mods. i'm not about to spend money on bulbs. stock is fine. i'd rather use those extra pennies on a good car wax. or if i was spending $200+ on bulbs (and yes, it has been posted, and if you add up most of your piaa prices, it can end up that high) i'd rather get an exhaust, and intake, muffler, pulley.

my point is, half of us save up for bulbs and complain about not being able to get some real grown up mods. and the other half (the smart half) dont' really care for the aftermarket look superwhites do (btw, they're gettin played out. the color is starting to look ugly) and would much rather make the car look classy. reminded me of a friend of mine who did up his teg heavily. one of the fastest N/A tegs in the northeast, and he didn't even have a side marker light. it had dents, a hole in the muffler, and a broken antenna. i was like "why don't you clean it up" and his response..."why bother i want it to be fast, not look fast". of course, he was at the extrme, with having body damage, but i also agreed with his idea. kinda stuck in my head ever since. i've got stock side marker, clearance lights, and fog lights. i'm saving anywhere from $50-$150 in bulbs that someone else is gonna buy, meanwhile i think my setup looks just fine.

I have the Stillen tie down, and let me tell you... The weight saved from using their aluminum bar instead of the stock STEEL bar is a huge difference! I can actually feel the 5hp I get back...

(I am kidding about that, but I really do have the stillen tie down...)

I have one ...it is kind of crude and just a rectangle....I am off all next month...I may get started on something nice...If you want to see it I could probably take a pic for you.

At this point I am not selling them....but I will probably give it to you to check out an make suggestions.

I may have to get some heavier guage aluminum...I think it would look better

Battery box too?!? Why's that? I'll be changing my battery some time soon (b/c I'm tire of filling it up all the time) and I figured I'd upgrade the tie down with something more attractive, but I never considered changing the box.
