Need info from D.C. metro guys.

I posted this in the D.C. metro forum as well. But not everyone visits the regional forums, so i thought i'd ask here as well.

Guys, i really need your help. I'll be in D.C. next week and i'd like to get the windows on the max tinted. I need a good, reputable place where i can take the car to. I'd like to get 20% Madico cool chrome done. If i can get this info by the end of the week, i'll try to make arrangements to get it done.

Can you guys help a fellow .org brother out please?

Thanx a lot in advance.

Where specifically are you interested?

California Tint(703-379-6103) in Tysons does a great(I have had numerous cars tinted there) job but they are expensive ($200+). Make sure you ask for a break, they will lower the price about 20 bucks.

L.A. Tint in Manassas is good too (703-330-4910) and they are much cheaper.

If you are looking at the MD/DC area try doing a search in the DC section. I have noticed the prices for that area are much cheaper, but I cannot comment on the quality.

Good luck and welcome to the org.

Thanx for the quick reply Blackgums100. I called California tint and they quoted me $220. I wanted to get Madico cool chrome done, but they don't have that. He says that they carry the infiniti series tint. They have one of those that's equivalent to the cool chrome. I've never heard of that, but have u guys heard of that brand? What do you think? Worth it?

Thanx

Atlantic Tint is where I got mine done. Cant remember the # though. They are in MD of Central Ave.

THey charge $100 per car and warantee for life even w/ breakin.

The question is where are you going to be? because that will dictate where you can get to. It is not like you want to drive to Manassas, VA to get tint done if you are in Landover, MD. Tell us where you are going to be and it will help direct you.

I'll be in Silver spring MD, but wouldn't mind going anywhere in the D.C. metro for a good quality job. Someone just pointed this thread out to me. https://maxima.org/forums/showthread...5&pagenumber=1
Very good deal, and just spoke with Moe the guy that does the job and he says that if i come in at anytime he'll get me in immediately since i'm coming from N.C. for only a couple of days. I'll check them out to see what's going on. $90 for tint isn't bad at all.

Solar Concepts in Laurel, MD is where I got mine done. $135 for the car, lifetime warranty, don't know what brand of tint it is off the top my head though. Give them a call, they tinted my very first car 12 years ago - not too many places are around that long.
