Are you looking at it more for interior monitoring or exterior?

If exterior, I have major concerns since I am not sure how they would make it sensitive enough to detect a person, but filter out neighborhood cats, rain/dropping leaves, snow (if you have any), or any one of several things that as a matter of routine get near/touch a car everyday.

Sounds like an idea ahead of practical technology.
