brake question

brake question

after owning a 2k and a 2k3 max se's evrytime i have to change brake pads it always happens that the rear pads go first
is this normal???
would of figured being fwd the front pads go first

2K Max here - Rears went out at 40K. Fronts are about to be replaced at 56K.
