Spare jack location

Hey, my Maxima's spare jack is sitting in the trunk area, along with some metal bracket with 2 studs on one end. The jack seems to fit inside this metal bracket perfectly. Does anyone have a diagram of where this metal bracket should go? I'd like to store the jack away properly (just to make it look neat). There's also 2 small bolts I found near the jack as well.

Also, mine was missing a trunk floorboard (cover overtop of the spare tire/etc). How much are these? (should I just try a junkyard?)

FYI this is a 2k Maxima SE 5spd, just bought it 2 weeks ago.

Are you anywhere near a dealership? If so, just go look at a 2k-2k3 Max on the lot. I think it would be alot more helpful than a picture.

As far as the floorboard, they are not cheap althought they are pretty thin. I would get some 1/2 plywood and cut one yourself.

Good idea, although I won't have time to do that for a while... does anyone already have a picture that shows it? Hopefully someone's got a pic (of, say, a trunk audio setup) that has a peek of it in the corner...

OK, OK...if you want, e-mail me and I will try to take a photo of the area and send it to you. Happily, I took today off as well for a long weekend so I have the time to do this.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll have a look at my trunk tonight now that I know how that bracket is oriented.

Hehe, my trunk should be a tad less chaotic after the jack's in its proper location
