That was wierd...lost the post.

Anyhow, I wanted an alignment done after the Maxspeed/KYB-GR2 install, but the dealer is asking for the Maxspeed spring specifications. I don't remember the springs coming with any sort of spec sheet...

Can anyone help?

most spring manufacturer won't list their spring rates as it's proprietary(sp). but they are stiffer than stock. why are they wanting to know spring rates when performing an alignment?

I think they want to know the drop...more than they want to know the spring rate.

Did anyone else that had an alignment done had to provide springs specs...or is the dealer just blowing smoke out of it's rear end?

i did not have to tell them. as for drop...just measure it. tell em to compare it to one of the cars on the lot!

Nissan Dealers = IDIOTS

Take your car to a good alignment shop, get it out of the Nissan Dealership. You'll save $$$ too and probably get the job done correctly the first time.
