Bose 6 Disc Head Unit

Is it possible to keep the Bose 6 Disc unit in the maxima but change the speakers and amp to make the system sound better. It's just not loud enough.

Go to www.linkmeup.com . I have the PD4. I have a 5 channel amp, powering all my speakears, and an aftermarket sub. Sounds great.

you can get speakers and an amp with a special adapter, but the system is still limited to the stock HU's capabilities (or shall I shall incapabilities)

I went with a new HU and stock speakers...sounds better than stock IMO
