Trunk emblem....whatcha think?......

After de-badging my trunk a couple weeks ago, I added this emblem today. Yay, Nay or Ghey?

Re: Trunk emblem....whatcha think?......

It's a nice logo and all, but the 'Maxima' is just too small to even be noticable. If you wanted your rear to spell out the name of your car, leave the stock badge on there. If you took the badges off for a clean look in the first place, leave it bare.

It would look better in place of the Nissan emblem but not where you presently have it. I would just shave it off and leave it looking clean.

i think it'de be better if you replaced the "nissan" hamburger emblem with that maxima one.. it makes your car look like it was made by two different car manufactures because of the complexity of the design.

Thanks for the replies everybody. Dunno what I'll do. I agree that putting it where the hamburger is would look good, but the emblem is flat and the top of the trunk is curved. I think it's put on with pins, too.

I am in agreement with most of the others. I would rather have the factory emblems. This way it looks like you took the others off and left some sort of Dealership emblem on, at least from a distance and 1st glance. Just my $.02.

Looks too much like a dealership logo tag. Especially the size and placement.

I agree, the back looks great de-badged and left alone. One of the first things I did to mine was take the badges off. I think the badge that you have would look good on front of a mesh grill.

I like that badge, just not there...maybe if it was where the Nissan hamburger is on the rear in the center, there it might look good...

I saw a pic somewhere of that emblem in a mesh grill...looked pretty good.

Has anyone removed the hamburger logo from a 2K2/3 trunk lid and put something else there? That part of the trunk is curved, so whatever went in it's place would need to be modified, I think.
