cleaned TB and shampooed engine....now ses stuck on

I shampooed my engine and cleaned my throttle body( trying to get rid of my amsoil filter oil residue). I only took off the section past the maf and before the throttle body. My butterfly was covered in oil and my throttlebody was black.
I left the car overnight with the battery disconnected and this morning the light is still on.
Any guess which one did it ...the engine wash or the tb clean as I ran it with the section missing just to spray in the cleaner with it running.
I also noticed that there was a drip of oil hanging from the maf piece that hangs in the intake so My maf is probably coated with oil

Any thoughts

if you keep it disconnected overnight and its still on then i would take it to autozone to have the code pulled. does it drive any differently?

disconnected battery doesnt really work on 2k2's ; i've disconnected for 72 hours, SES still stayed on (while getting my TB replaced)

this works:

if it comes back on then a code is being outputted, get it read at the dealer or autozone.
