5th Gen Gauge Rings are in..

The 5th Generation chrome gauge rings are finally in...
I've had an overwhelming response on these and don't know if I can keep up with the demand. Over half the incoming shipment has been spoken for. Get them while you can on my site..
Placing the order for the new shipment already to restock this one..

These were designed to be 2mm smaller than the 4th generation rings, so that sanding would not be needed to install. Is the 02/03 even smaller?

So if I have a stock bezel on a 01, these are a direct fit? What is the material, plastic or metal?

Thanks!

Yes, they should be a direct fit on your '01. They are made from metal.

As for pics, they look exactly the same as the 4th gen rings (except 2mm smaller). There are pics on my website.. (Just click the "YES" next to the product)

00/01's are differnet from 02/03 so we won't be able to use those. i jsut got a hold of an extra gauge cluster. i'll ship it to you for creating the ring, if i get a free set

yes this is true. reason i got the gauge cluster ws to see how to remove that ring, and maybe that would allow 00/01 rings to fit?
if it's a simple removal process, then yeah, i'll get the 00/01 rings

MaxMoJo,

The 02/03 do come with crappy gray plastic rings in the tach and speedo. None for the fuel and temp gauges...
They look cheap cheap cheap.....

PLEASE make these for the 02/03. I would like to remove the two stock plastic rings and replace them with a set of these cool metal rings. VERY COOL PRODUCT ! !

Ok, officially out of stock.

I think I set a personal record, selling it all out in one day.

I am working on getting more already .. If I manage to get my hands on an 02-03 cluster, I'll see if I can get those made too.

Is it just me but doesn't it seem as if the 2002/03 get no aftermarket respect. The 4th gen Maxima got so much aftermarket support for the whole production cycle but use 02/03 owner have to jump through hoops to get the same support as a 2000/01 Max... No fare!

I agree 100%. Most of the bodykits, turbo's, and superchargers are being designed for the 00/01's. We get no love.

not really bothered by it....everytime i get "annoyed" all i think is this. when they come out with an aftermarket 6-speed clutch for the 350z, which car will it also fit. any engine upgrade for the 350z or the altima, which car (engine) will it ALSO fit. just something that patience will bring to us. good things come to those who wait

That is one good thing about sharing the same engine as the the Z.
