The long and short of this is that a close friend of mine is having a terrible time with a new car he just bought in terms of relibility (it is a Subaru Outback Limited Wagon - 2003). This has come to the point that he may end up taking the car back. This seems a little strange as Subarus usually have a good name for longevity, but anyways...

The car that he wanted new a few years back was a ...drumroll...Nissan Maxima SE. Now that I have had one for a year and have been constantly riding him for not getting one new when he bought the Sub I think I may have swayed him.

Here is what I need. A new, 2003 Nissan Maxima SE, 6spd. Leather, Sunroof, Meriden, and HLSD would be nice, but not nessecary. Color can be anything but white and hopefully not black. I know this particular car will be in short supply, but perhaps someone has seen one lately, sitting lonely on the lot in need of a good home...

Did that...only ONE outside of St. Louis and that was Glacier Pearl - LOL

I guess I COULD search outside of the Midwest, but Nissan's site doesn't allow for a search that wide (not to mention you have to go through each dealer to see what what they got)

I was just hoping that someone had a line on a secret stash or something LOL

im not sure if its still there but last time i checked 2 weeks ago at Capital Nissan in Maryland thers was a fully loaded 2k3 6speed merlot wtih navigation
