Does anyone know about the effects about changing the tire size from the Nissan specs of 225/50/17 ? I was thinking of just putting on 235/45/17 and was told that it will void the car warranty and also the computer in the car will not understand the new tires and cause the anti lock brakes to lock up. Anyone have any information on this?

 

ive heard of putting different size tires on cars and it throwing the abs computer off but the same people that say that never know of a case personally. many here run 225/45, 235/45 and 235/50 and a few others with no problems that ive heard of. im assuming the computer has a certain of leeway, if you were to go way out of spec then i would be it would assume the abs operation.
