I need a sub now and I am inbetween subs. I was looking into the Diamond Audio TDX or the JL audio W7 both in a 12" sub. Can you guys help!!!!!

dont know much about diamond, but JL is an excellent brand. my girlfriend recently got JL speakers in her car and they sound awsome. we also demo'd the JL subs (10" i believe) when we were pickin out the speakers, and they also sounded great, much better than the ones we compared them to (i think the comparison was rockford fosgate, but i'm not sure)

Trust me on this..... Get the O or A series and you will blow JL out of the water.

 

Wow I didn't know that there was a sub so cheap that would beat out the JL W7. So you have this sub that your telling me about, and if you do do you like it?

I have a single K series (see homepage) and it is plenty for me. Join www.caraudioforum and you will realize that every car audio brand you thought was good actually sucks really bad.

 

If you're looking for sound quality, I recommend considering Image Dynamics. My best friend has a pair of IDQ 12s in his car and to be honest with you, the sound quality rivals that of my Eclipse Ti. From what I understand, IDMAX is supposed to be the upgrade from the IDQ. If it truly sounds better then IDQ then I may actually sell my Eclipse Titaniums and go with a pair of the IDMAX subs myself. I have not heard the IDMAX subs myself, but if they are as good or better then IDQ subwoofers then you may definitely want to consider them.
