I need to file a complaint! Any one knows how to do this with Nissan corporate?
i just took my car in for the usual engine oil change and the dealer ruined the interior of my car!
on my service record, i had a note that specifically states that my car was not to be washed. next thing you know, the monkeys washed my car (scratching might i add - hence, the reason why i asked that my car not to be washed in the first place). They left the sunroof slightly opened such that water would roll right into the body of the roof. I spoke to the service team there and all they wanted to do was blow dry it. now there's a stain whereever the water was.
correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the inner part of the roof unprotected paint wise? the manager says there's a water drainage system up there...however, the only place the water went was into my car and onto my seat. is this guy telling the truth? is there someone on this board that can verify that???

if you/they leave the sunroof open then water will get in the car, but there definitely IS a drainage system in the roof to funnel off water. Think about it... there sunroof gasket sits *inside* the cutout in the roof. Rain/snow sit in the edge between the gasket and the roof and just wait... when you open the roof the water has nowhere to go but down in the roof. If you open the sunroof and look toward the edges you'll see a small (maybe 3/8" diameter) tube-like thing... that's what takes the water away.
If they damaged your car they need to fix it, but he wasn't lying about there being a drainage system in the roof.
