AE pedal and throttle wire

how do you get the dang throttle wire off of the gas pedal to change out the stock one and put the AE gas pedal on. no problem with the brake or dead pedal, but getting the throttle wire off the actual pedal, im clueless, thanks for any help!

IIRC, you pull the pedal up and push the little spacer around the cable at the top of the pedal until the spacer goes through and out the back. Then it's simple.

Or you can do it the easy way and just swap the pedal itself. There's no need to swap out the whole assembly. The pedal is only held on by one clip, a small flathead screwdriver and you'll have it off in 10 seconds. Then just put the AE pedal on and replace the clip.

LMAO, thanks for changing the sig underneath my name IceY2K1, i knew that was coming. i did do check them out though. it didnt say how to get the dang wire off the gas assembly pedal. i have tried pulling that wire every direction possible and no luck. there are those two white spacers on either side of the assembly at the top. wasnt sure if there was a clip or something there holding it onto the assembly. seems like you would just be able to lift up on it and it would come right out. ill try again, otherwise ill just try switching the pedals rather than the whole assembly.

Kev has FULL control over that...or I'd have changed my own~!

Just push on the white spacer until it comes out, then you just slip the cable through the slot in the top of the metal.

I'm pretty sure the spacer only comes out the backside, but maybe either way works.
