Just installed a Stillen intake and exhaust.

I just got done about an hour ago installing a Stillen intake and exhaust. The intake took me about 20 minutes to install and the exhaust took about an hour and a half. I haven't had a chance to really test the car to see what kind of gains I got. But the little bit that I did drive it, the sound is defiently improved. One question I have is it seems that the intake is hitting the hood a little. Is that normal? Anyway I'm going to be driving a 4 hour trip tommorow, so I'm sure I'll be able to really test it then. Stay tuned.

That may be why they call it a rear section and not a cat back. Thanks for your input though Kloogy.

Your intake should not be hitting your hood. You must have done something wrong.

don't forget to reset your ECU.. unplug your battery for a couple of hour
and then drive the car HARD for the computer to re-learn it.

Your ECU is constantly learning and should never be reset. Clearing error codes is the only thing that should ever be done to your ECU.

Sorry, I just got into Orlando from Savannah. So here's the answer to your questions.

1)I have no pics because I really haven't had a chance. But as soon I get a chance I'll get them on here.
2)Yes I installed the bracket, but maybe I did it wrong. Either way it deosn't seem to be hurting anything, besides Stillen says it should be pretty close to the hood.
3)Not trying to be an ****, but Stillen exhaust does not suck, besides I bought the exhaust for my car and not yours.
